Teams are one of the most overlooked features in Match Masters. They give you free daily gifts, bonus rewards, and a shared pool of resources that solo players simply never get. This guide covers how all of it works.

A lot of players spend weeks in Match Masters without ever joining a team. They collect their daily gifts, play their matches, and never realise they’re missing an entire layer of free resources.

Teams give you extra daily gifts on top of your regular ones. They give you bonus rewards from team events. And they give you a group of active players whose gift links stack with yours.

This guide explains how the whole system works, how to find a good team, and what you need to do to stay in one.

What a Match Masters Team Actually Is

A team in Match Masters is a group of up to 30 players who are linked together inside the game.

Team members share a daily gift pool. When a team member sends a gift, every other member receives it. The more active members you have, the more gifts arrive each day.

Teams also have a level. The higher the team level, the better the gifts and the bigger the team event rewards. Teams level up when members play regularly and contribute to shared goals.

Daily team gifts arrive from every active member. A full team of 30 active players generates a significant daily reward pile.

Why Joining a Team Is Worth It

The short answer: teams give you more free stuff every day without any extra effort on your part.

As a solo player, you collect the daily free gifts from the official gift page. That’s a fixed amount of resources per day.

As a team member, you get all of that plus the daily team gifts from each active member in your team. A team with 25 active members can double your daily resource income.

Extra Daily Gifts

Every active team member sends you a daily gift. More members means more resources arriving every day.

Team Event Prizes

Team events give out rewards that no solo event matches. Top-finishing teams earn gems, high-tier boosters, and stickers.

Team Level Bonuses

Higher team levels unlock better gift quality and larger event prize pools for all members.

Team Chat

Active teams share strategy, booster tips, and heads-up on upcoming events. Useful if you’re trying to improve.

The resource math is simple. If your team has 20 active members each sending one gift per day, that’s 20 extra rewards daily on top of everything else you collect. Over a week, that adds up to more boosters than most players buy in a month.

How Team Gifts Work

Team gifts are separate from the public gift links you find on sites like Match Masters Gifts.

Inside the game, each team member can send one gift per day to the rest of the team. The gift goes to every member simultaneously. Everyone receives it, not just one person.

The quality of the gift depends partly on the sender’s team level and partly on the type of gift they choose to send.

What gifts usually contain

Team gifts typically include coins, Bronze or Silver boosters, and occasionally sticker fragments. Higher-level teams see better quality gifts more often.

Gems from team gifts are rare. Don’t expect them regularly. The real value is in the consistent daily coins and boosters that stack with everything else you’re collecting.

Claiming your team gifts

Go to the Teams tab and look for the gift inbox. Gifts don’t expire immediately but don’t let them pile up for days either. Claim them daily as part of your routine.

Send your gift before you do anything else each day. It takes five seconds. Your teammates get their reward and you get credit as an active member. Skipping this is the fastest way to get removed from a competitive team.

How to Find and Join a Team

The team search screen shows open teams you can join immediately.

Filter by level to find one that matches where you are in the game.

1. Open the Teams tab

Find it in the main menu. If you’re not currently in a team, you’ll see a search option and a list of suggested teams.

2. Search or browse

You can search by team name if someone recommended a specific one. Or browse the list of open teams and filter by level or activity.

3. Check the team before joining

Look at the member count and the last active dates. A team with 28 members but half of them inactive for 10 days is not a good team to join.

4. Send a join request or tap Join

Open teams let you join immediately. Closed teams require you to request entry. The team leader gets a notification and approves or declines.

5. Send your first gift right away

As soon as you join, send a team gift. It signals to the team leader that you’re active and sets the right tone from day one.

Types of Teams and Which Suits You

Not every team runs the same way. Before you join, it helps to know what kind of team you’re looking at.

Casual

No strict requirements. These teams just want members who log in occasionally and send gifts when they can. Good if you play a few times a week but don’t want pressure. Gift quality and event results are usually average.

Active

Daily activity expected. These teams want you logging in every day, sending gifts, and participating in events. They tend to have better team levels and better daily gift quality as a result. This is the right type for most regular players.

Competitive

Serious about team events. These teams track contribution scores, remove inactive members fast, and coordinate which boosters to use during team events. Best daily rewards and best event prizes. You need to be playing regularly and willing to follow the team’s event strategy.

If you’re early in the game, start with a casual or active team. You’ll get the daily gift benefits without the pressure. If you’re playing every day anyway, an active team gives you noticeably better returns.

Team Events and How They Work

Team events are timed competitions where your whole team plays together toward a shared goal.

During an event, each member’s match results contribute to a team total. The team is ranked against other teams of a similar level. Your final team rank determines the prize everyone receives.

Team events show each member’s contribution in real time. Active teams coordinate who plays when to keep the score climbing throughout the event.

What the prizes look like

Top-finishing teams receive gems, Diamond or Legendary boosters, and exclusive sticker packs. These are some of the best free rewards available anywhere in the game.

Even finishing in the middle tier of a team event is worth more than most solo events. The collective effort scales the prize pool up significantly.

How to contribute properly

Play your regular matches during the event window. Your wins add points to the team total. Your losses add fewer points or subtract, depending on the event format.

Some competitive teams coordinate timing. Members agree to play their highest-scoring matches during specific hours to push the team score up in bursts. If your team does this, follow the schedule.

Don’t use your best boosters randomly during a team event. Save them for the high-contribution matches, usually in the second half of the event when the team score matters most. Using a Diamond booster in a casual warm-up match wastes it.

What the Team Expects From You

Every team has different expectations. But most active teams have at least a few basic requirements.

If you stop logging in for 5 to 7 days, most active and competitive teams will remove you. This isn’t personal. Active spots are valuable and team leaders need members who show up.

If you’re going on holiday or know you’ll be offline, say so in team chat. Most team leaders will hold your spot for a short absence if you give them a heads-up.

The only thing I ask from new members is send your gift and play during events. That’s it. I don’t care about trophies or spending. Just be there.Team leader, Match Masters Discord

Should You Start Your Own Team?

For most players, the answer is no. At least not immediately.

When you create a team, you start at level one with zero members. Your daily gifts are minimal. You have no team event history. And you’re responsible for finding, approving, and managing every single member.

Joining an established team with 20 active members gives you the full benefit of team gifts from day one.

Starting your own team makes sense if you have a group of friends who all play and want to play together. It also makes sense if you’ve been in the game long enough to build a following through community groups or social media.

Otherwise, find a good active team and join it. You’ll get better returns faster with less effort.

Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Team

Send Your Gift First Thing

Make it the first thing you do when you open the game each day. Takes five seconds and keeps your active status clean.

Join at Your Level

Don’t join a competitive team if you’re early in the game. You’ll get removed quickly. Start with an active team and move up when your playtime matches their expectations.

Say Something in Team Chat

Even one message a week signals that you’re a real person. Team leaders keep active communicators longer than silent members with the same stats.

Share Gift Links With Your Team

Share links from Match Masters Gifts in team chat. Members who collect extra free gifts are better stocked for events.

Push Hard During Events

Your regular daily play is enough for daily gifts. But events are where the real prizes are. Show up and contribute during event windows.

Switch Teams If Yours Goes Dead

If half your team hasn’t been online in a week, don’t wait around. Find an active team. There are plenty of them and the difference in daily gifts is significant.

Bottom Line

Teams are a free daily resource multiplier. You do not need to spend money, change how you play, or commit to a strict schedule to benefit from one. All you need is an active team and the habit of sending a gift each day.

The rewards stack on top of everything else you’re already collecting. There is no reason to play solo if you have the option to join a team.
